Start-up Enterprise Development Scheme (SEEDS)
Qualifying companies:
- Start-ups in Singapore involved in developing new or better products, processes and applications
- The qualifying start-up is defined as a Company incorporated as a “Pte Ltd” in Singapore for not more than three years, with paid-up capital and non-current liabilities of not more than $500,000 and carrying out its core activities in Singapore
Criteria for 3rd party investor(s):
- Corporate or individual investor(s)
- Corporate investor(s) must be legal entities with a minimum paid-up capital of $500,000
- Individual investor(s) must not be related to the founder(s)
- Independent and objective
- Add value from management expertise, business contacts or technical expertise
Fund can be used for: Developing innovative products or processes that can be marketed and sold globally
